It had been leaked that to show benefits of transformation, it has been decided to reduce number of people who are on G11 and below. Sorry folks, but this is the harsh reality.

Actually by percentage from bottom to top of the grades in my segment we have released equally. Do your job and get over it. If you are one of these millennial employees that want everything to be easy and fair you should find another job. In fact we can give you that work / life balance you so routinely complain about. How about 100% life with 0% work! Only downside is the pay is 0 too. But you can go back and live in mom and dads basement where you can play Xbox all night long and not have to worry about work getting in the way.
To leaked - you seriously do not have a clue. If you bothered to listen, Transformation is about making the company more competitive so we can actually get more work and keep our people employed and busy. If you are sitting on your tail and waiting to be told what to do - then you are right, the future of SLB probably does not include you. If you want to learn other services, expand your knowledge of all the services we provide and contribute, then no worries. Did I drink the Transformation coolaid...yes, but it makes sense. We are operating like a 19th century company in a rapidly changing world. Go look at what we are trying to do; improve asset use (100%), reduce NPT (90%), reduce our costs due to inefficiencies in the system (10%), improve our cash flow (25%), Ok, bring on the trolls......
In what way would reducing the below-management-grade staff demonstrate the "benefits of transformation?"
I have observed a disproportionately large number of low-grade employees being downsized.

Hmmm... I know many people that are below G11 that work harder than most High Level Managers. I have seen my manager just staring out of his window as I walk by his office--when he is there. Most of the time he never bothers coming to work. That is useless. Spends no time engaging with his people or the operation.
Useless bunch anyways. They should be the first to go.
