wondering if they allow signing the documents later? (if so anyone know or have experience in this past or present)?

has anyone posted a version of the documents online? it seems like it would be interesting to review.
I believe for employees over 40 they should be given 45 days or more since this is a mass layoff situation so the law considers there is a group involved (2 or more employees > 40) :

You don't have to sign. They can't make you. But they will not give you any severance pay until after you sign.
I know someone that got ISP last year and refused to sign. Intel HR reps kept calling for more than 6 months asking to sign.
It depends on if your H1B replacement is ready or not.
thanks a lot. Any idea where I can look this rule up?
I have worked for 20 years and never got less than SL3. Then I changed groups late last year and got 'focal-ed' by my old team. I was given SL5 by them.
it's really no use to defer because you can't receive any of your package benefits until you sign...and with mass action you are not likely to win if you fight it :( The only reason to defer would be because you wish to negotiate for larger payout but that seems unlikely as well, given that you are an at will employee, and Intel is not obligated to give you any severance for terming due to performance. sorry to be bearer of bad news...good luck to you
HOW EVER, they will ask you to sign the TSAF (trade secret acknowledgement form) in the meeting.
Yes, you can sign and return documents later.
In the US, if you are over 40, there are specific rules. You get 21 days to sign and, after you sign, you have 8 days to change your mind.
