I for 1 miss working at weatherford. I had good friends and my more senior bosses treated me very well. my direct supervisor has a lot to learn but that's how it is supposed to work. I hope that I can return when things get better.

Fire up the pit.
F--- those people. They are the worst crony capitalists there is. I wouldn't go back under any circumstances. Would rather flip burgers, less dehumanising
I really enjoyed working for Omni. I kinda liked working for Weatherford Labs before they put their paws on everything and ruined Omni's culture... but for a while now Weatherford has irritated the remaining staff to the point of leaving as soon as they can. Some departments were definitely better than others though!
West hardy leg spreaders ...
There was a time I so enjoyed working for Weatherford, many years ago. I met with a major O&G firm last week and the VP said I don't need to ask why you are leaving, I know why you are leaving. WFT does not have respect among the peers.
You are right. I just heard about West Hardy and all the backstabbing, blaming each other, and lying that's going on. Bad management and getting rid of the experienced people will be the debacle of a nice manufacturing and efficient (long time ago) plant. They still have a good engineering group to bad that they don't listen to what manufacturing engineering have to say , they have more experience than the 'buyers" that where left "none" so Fardin and his people are the only ones that really know what's going on. Good luck to them dealing with the backstabers inplanning and Purchasing.
I would rather take a chance picking up a crack head h--ker in Vegas than returing to work for WFT!
It's no fun anymore, not enough work, worthless people try to justify their jobs, backstabbing, nepotism, I don't know how long you've been gone but it's become a nasty environment right now.
