53 yo non-exempt white male with 22 years of Intel service who has both VSP & ERP options. My gut tells me to take ERP because if Intel doesn't hit their 12,000 target, VSPer's in my age and gender group will be the first to get walked with less than what is being offered on ERP. Not to mention that my program/project group may get hit come the end of June. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

I got my VSP, and I want to know what is 75 rule?

June 2 is the date to decide VSP/ERP, if I decide not to take either, I do not have those packages available if a group cut happens at the end of June.
I just hit rule 75 and feel as though that i won't make it with Intel to age 62 to retire. This is the next best option for me and I will take a break consider changing careers. Thanks for your opinions and wish you all and every other Intel employee nothing but the best.
If your group gets cut, you will get the same options (VSP or ERP) at that time. This has already been leaked. If you don't want to leave, then you lose nothing by sticking around for 2 more months.
OP, looks like you just hit the rule of 75. Is that correct ? Why don't you take the ERP ? Just out of curiosity, it is possible to take the ERP, then take a break and continue working for a few more years after that ?
I am a young guy, retirement doesn't matter to me, but just curious. I am not sure how retirement laws work in US.
I "think" unvested RSUs may vest with ERP.... You may want to check that. Your thinking is in the right path. Best wishes.
