Congratulations and Have a cold beer, life outside Intel is great. Trust me , I was in the same situation and it was the best thing that happened to me. Intel is not the same Company anymore.

If you dodge the bullet now you can start worrying about the next round later this year.
After 5 increasingly brutal years in TMG I was given the boot few years ago with the same scenario - got a BE less than a year after getting the divisional award b/c my (new and super-ambitious manager) have to cover his failings. I'm still amazed as to WHY I tolerated the abuse for so long. It was the best thing that happened to me in a long time, my wife was so happy to have me back. None of my colleagues is there anymore, they all ran away from TMG. I know there are gravy groups and units, but what I've seen does not worth staying
yes there's life outside intel, we've just been too used to the Intel gravy way too long, it was nice while it lasted though, no regrets. Cheer up team! it's going to be rough for a few months but you will survive.
