Intel has a unique culture among tech firms. It is very political and usually looks more inwards than outwards. Its culture is so dominant it has failed in all of its past acquisitions. No matter how great the aquired company was, the "Culture" has ruined it. This has worked as long as Intel's main asset - the silicon process gave it a clear lead over competition. These days are officially over with the death of moore's law. Now, this huge, inflexible ship has to deal with much more flexible, innovative companies and it doesn't have the time to change itself. Intel will fail in IoT in the same way it has failed mobile. The only relevant business is the high-margin Server business. The reat will fade away within 5 years at most. If you're not in a server related BU, leave and find a better company to work for.
