I have gotten Successful+SSL3 last three years including 2016. I was hoping to get VSP, but no news yet. By the Intel key dates website, VSP emails won't go out now. By the OregonLive, I do not satisfy ISP criterion either. So confused and anxious! I deserve to get an option too....

Myself being tech female got the VSP offer, as did my other tech female URM colleague.
Not true about URMs being protected; 3 in South Carolina ISPed so far; not sure about the other sites.
Just quit and find a new job. Why looking for the handout?
@H69NxAn-ebf sorry, I re-read your post...are you the OP? If so, then perhaps I answered your question as to why you didn't receive the VSP offer when you know that you meet criteria? Also, I would encourage you to ask HR why you were excluded when you clearly meet the criteria. Especially since poster @H69NxAn-qzb has confirmed that they are URM and still received the VSP offer...you really should reach out to HR (not your manager) and ask them to explain why you didn't get a VSP offer.
@H69NxAn-ebf I think you misunderstood my post, Intel does NOT want to loose folks they consider diverse talent...your post says you don't want VSP, but you're asking if you can request it? Apologies, I'm not understanding your post ... are your the OP?
@H69NxAn-cxz : yes I am one in your list of under represented minority. I do want a VSP option. If we all minority people have to leave in the next year or so why not make that career move now since looks like promotion matters are really affected by color. Can I request VSP?
poster @H69NxAn-qzb, is your race/ethnicity data updated in your personal information in the portal? You should check that and see if your info is properly updated...because unless you self-reported your race, you likely showed up on the data pull as Caucasian :/ Intel most definitely should be retaining you, because it is very possible that as you say, your prior manager is not giving you the opportunities you deserve in order to stand out from your peers and you've been passed over, preventing you from getting higher ratings in previous years. Just a thought...
Not true, I'm black I got the VSP e-mail appox. 5:40 am. I have been successful all last 3 years. I think the reason why I got the VSP package is for being in the same grade level for to long. Isn't that some sh$t. I get penalized because some racist dick heads don't want to promote me. You have to understand why this so called "diversity initiative" is so important to Intel. Intel knows if they do such a mass layoffs the under represented minority will wiped out; not that they will ever care to fix it, just doesn't look good.
I'm not trying to be insensitive so please don't take offense as such in my response....
If you happen to fit the Intel category for Under Represented Minority then they will have removed you from the list as they are trying to retain their diverse talent. So, if you find yourself fitting the category for VSP candidate, and you are African American, Native American/Alaskan, or Female Asian/Indian Technical then you have likely been taken off the list purposely...you don't need to post your race here, just trying to give you reason why this might have happened to you. Or to anyone who finds themselves meeting VSP criteria but did not receive the offer yesterday. Intel won't ever admit that's what has happened but, that's what's happening. Please I hope I haven't offended you...good luck
