Are Manager 1:1's a sign of a pending layoff or is everyone receiving a manager 1:1?

run forest run!
They won't shut down Chandler. They just built some advanced TD building at the site. Even if they decided to close out C4/ATTD, I suspect that they close down C11 and move all of IT on to one campus. But that, and the closing is all rumor. Site closures were notified by Friday last week and no mention of Chandler.
I've also heard that the Chandler site was potentially getting axed. Specifically C4/ATTD. Didn't hear any other details though.
What kind of regrets does intel have with their investment in Arizona?
It's not a for sure sign of layoff. My GL scheduled 1:1's for everyone in the group. I work in F12
Never knew Intel regrets their presence in AZ. First I have heard of it.
Yeah - however much Intel has come to regret their investment in Arizona, the criteria for site closures is unlikely to cover a campus as large as Chandler. I do expect we'll see our share of ZBB'd projects, though.
Anyone receive a 1:1 and not receive an ISP?
I cannot see them closing down Chandler.
Yeah, I was afraid of that. Eleven years and great reviews. One bad review and guess I can expect bad things in the OC8-110 room.
It appears only those getting ISP are meeting 1:1 right now, unless you have regular scheduled 1:1's that are part of your manager/employee engagement.
There are indications Chandler may be impacted by site closure. Waiting for formal announcement. Any word?
Anyone who has an official 1:1 with their manager is likely receiving an ISP, see previous threads for criteria. My husband is in SC and received his 1:1 and ISP today.
if you get an unexpected 1:1 in a blocked conference for the whole day that is a layoff meeting
When I was laid off 2 years ago everyone had a 1:1 whether they got laid off or not.
