Closing Dupont: That writing has been on the wall for quite some time. CCG moved out of Dupont 2 years ago and the place has been like a ghost-town for quite a while. I know people from Dupont who temporarily moved to Oregon (in CCG) until they found a job back in Dupont in DCG. Well now those DCG jobs are moving to Oregon.

Yes. They found out almost a week ago (Thurs Apr 21st) in an open forum. I'm kind of shocked how long it took for people to find out and how little communication occurred. It's nearly 300 R&D and validation engineers critical to DCG. Almost 100% will be offered re-location, primarily to Oregon. If for some reason they laid off the entire site, DCG would be in serious trouble. They already will be because probably over half of those people won't move and will take the separation package at the end of the year.

there are some sites confirmed in this post from Friday: @H17CeZr-axe also in other posts ppl have mentioned that the site closure threshold is 500, anything less than 500 is at risk of closure. I also saw that SoCal locations where closing, with offers to Relo to OR or AZ. If I can find the post I'll re-post here.

Yes. What's next, Hudson, MA or Austin, TX or Fort Collins, CO? So many satellite campus acquired through poor business decisions.
