my friend who is a manage manager just informed me. HR has informed him if he wants to meet with the employee ion Monday AM he needs to let them know Sunday evening. If he is meeting with them on Monday afternoon he needs to inform them Monday AM. This allows little time for employee mohave time to react. Thats brutal. Can't imagine I worked for this company or 17 yrs

Got a great laugh out of the talk of handcuffing yourself to a TWWW cube. I can just imagine it, like pretending a piece of Ikea furniture will slow things down. The whole floor would be able to see and hear the entire thing, too.
If tents are planned, it is likely those will be done early in the morning
No tents in Folsom site
@H5aVQAi-aou, No layoffs @Intel. It was just a bad dream
and interesting about the managers contacting ees tonight to schedule Monday morning meeting, its 830pm here in CA and I havent seen anyone post in this forum that they've received a phone call to meet w/ manager in the am....hmmmmm
I read in other posts that they did that long ago but I'd like to think they'd bring in trailers nowadays...
I heard BUM rooms nothing about tents.
Someone should swing by Folsom site and see if the tents are up and report back. This is horrible. Man.
I just posted similar sentiment, not the same company. Maybe the Bunnymen will save us.
Tents to be set up outside facilities to process those being let go for those sites with large number of layoffs which are likely FM, SC, and OR.
They probably will bring in extra security tomorrow. Wonder if they will be armed and have hand cuffs to escort us criminals.
and hopefully you still have the old Steelcase cubes @mxt, they'll remain standing. If you try to cuff yourself to a TW3 cube you'll end up dragging the cheap*ss thing down the hall after you.
Preferably, just walk into the cubicle and put on handcuffs before escorted out of building.
This once great country has gone down the drain. Total destruction is near unless the savior arrives.
All corporations are going toward this same behavior. It's not safe to think you can be loyal. There has been no such thing as loyalty for a long time. It's just now in the 10's of thousands and so its really hard no to be freaked out by it.
This is not the company you worked for for 17 years. It is me and improved, rainbows and growth minded unicorns Intel.
