Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

BK feels 'threatened' by push back on diversity

http://www.oregonlive.com/silicon-forest/index.ssf/2016/04/intel_ceo_describes_employee_t.html

I've been wondering just who have been threatening BK. It doesn't make sense on the surface. If anyone actually threatens people, most of all BK, they would be fired so fast.

The logical conclusion is that BK just feels threatened by the push back by all the talk. The talk on Circuit and the internal forums. Those aren't threats. It's push back.

BK has no credibility. BK just started a war with most of his employees. What I don't understand is why this white older male hasn't stepped down and let some Black LBGT female run the corporation yet? Oh, BK is privileged

He's a storyteller. This all fits into some elaborate narrative that exists only in his head. Ultimately it makes his actions ok by manipulation of all the players.

He's a typical lying leftist resorting to making things up when his policy and agenda are failing.

He lied about the fiscals of IOTG and FPGA . . . so anything is fair to this man.

First BK was crying at his daughter's game because of the layoffs. Now he feels threatened when challenged on diversity.

I think he's just not in control of his own emotions. It would explain why he pushes political correctness as much as he does.

(should add, if anybody actually did send in a real threat, shame on them)

@H5a2xyt-voe During last week's bum meeting he was actually talking about increasing diversity hires just after announcing 12000 layoffs. Then he goes off and whines to the media about employees threatening him about diversity. who is threatening who here again?

He'S actually doubling down on diversity as a means to an end by saying these actions will not affect his diversity initiative one bit. By saying this, he is saying in effect that Intel will be more diverse in the future, and what a better way to accelerate the process but through layoffs. Not necessarily the actions themselves (company is way to big and needs to get lean), but that in the meantime, future adds to HC will be rich in rainbows, unicorns, and v----as.
