what about atom project cancellation related layoffs ? Will the entire team be let go?
I don't believe you are at risk. If you don't have two reviews under you belt, you're probably not in the target criteria (long-serving old white guys who've maxed out in grade and need culling for cheaper and more "diverse" H1B replacement)
However... you should consider what you work on (Atom?), how market competition might affect you, and the decisions that a completely disconnected and incompetent CEO looking to preserve his multi-million-dollar compensation might make in the light of continued failure in mobile. So you might want to see if you can "jump before being pushed". It is far far easier to find a job when you already have one.
