By not getting retirement the OP lost out on SERMA for medical. That is a 1500 per year. In this case 16 years = 24000. Also intel didn't give them the ERP package. Pretty big deal missing rule of 75 by a month

All you had to do to save yourself was go to a doctor and get a medical leave of absence immediately. You could have gotten to your rule of 75 date by doing that.

unfortunately these large actions are all run off of data, if you didn't meet the requirement when they pulled the data which was likely the Friday before last week, you wouldn't show as meeting for the criteria. Having said that, if the ERP is something you think you would like to consider and you meet the criteria within a couple of weeks then it's worth talking to your manager about and asking if they will offer it to you. More than likely they will. Unless of course, you are meeting criteria for ISP, they won't spend the money on the ERP option, they will likely only give you ISP which won't be through email, your manager will be pinging you to come in for a 2:1 with them and HR. Best of luck to you...

the difference is on your RSU, which you can get all if you retired.

Retired vs quit makes no benefits as far as I can tell. That's why I quit even though it was 1 yr before rule allowed retirement.
