I am eligible for 8week sabbatical. I just received VSP. But given that the separation date is Jun 24th, would I be able to take sabbatical before separation date? Any ideas?

I got the severance last year before taking sabbatical. They treated it as 8 weeks pay and payed for it. Your mileage may vary but I hope not....... Best wishes....
Only California employees get the sabbatical paid if they leave voluntarily/involuntary. It discusses this in chapter 12 of the benefits handbook.
I think you get to cash out your sabbatical! My friend who took VSP last year got hers cashed ouyt

This was asked of my own manager today during a Q&A. The answer we received was no, that your sabbatical would be cashed out.
