Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Hired in Dec 2015. Ssl5/successful. Will I be impacted by ISP?

I was hired in Dec 2015 and worked just for 15 days in 2015. I didn't even fill a focal review for the year but was given a default rating of SSL5 in the month of march. Will I be impacted as part of the ISP?

The ISP slide shows a yield of 75%. I believe this gives them the leeway to exclude people who have less than a year (or maybe 2 years) at Intel and received a SSL4 or SSL5. Remember a subplot to this action and last year's action, is to get rid of older, higher paid employees (they are less likely to move, etc.) Intel is trying to move to a younger workforce. They will lose RCG (Recent College Grad) interest if they too action against someone in their first year.

Is VSP possible in similar cases (only few months at intel in 2015)?

Thank you. Hopefully they have a clause for employees who were hired in the last quarter of 2015.

No for ISP. Not long enough to rank you.

OP, you will probably not be affected, unless there is a site closure. Interestingly employees least affected by this sh---storm seem to be RCGs who have little to no performance history.
