The last guy seems a little angry, and I disagree with him. While it is true, that a lot of skilled workers have lost their jobs, and some not so skilled employees are still working...these layoffs have been mostly based on job performance, reputation, and attitude.
For example, my Frac crew has been together for a long time. Most have been with us for 5 years, some of us for 7 and 8 years...we are family...no question. Our reputation precedes us everywhere we go. As a result, we have been kept out of range from a lot of hardships.
We were individually asked if we wanted to take a voluntary lay off or paid time off. I have not worked since November and I have not missed a paycheck yet.
This company stands by those that make this company what it is. I have never seen anything like it with such a massive company. So don't blame them for your job loss, because trust me...if you make yourself worth keeping, they will do all they can to keep you.
by the way...im a white straight male
If you are a woman you are safe. If you are what so called gay you are safe. If you are what so called lesbian you are safe. If you are a fuk up you are safe. If you drink with your manager in the office, every Friday or weekend, yes, you are safe. If you are a snitch, Yuuuup, you are safe.
For those who are there doing the right thing and putting their head down trying to collect that check and keep our funny Healthcare, guess what, they can give us the boot any day.
The crook will still take home his $30M
Yep, the axe will continue to fall. So few left in the pool, no one will be safe as HR pulls names out of their hat. Ride the horse till they send you home. Make them pay you severance, you deserve it.
