people should start sharing the link to this forum to as many places as possible, leak it out to mainstream press. Seems like a lot of ees are on here sharing stories among each other, wouldn't it be great if the rest of the world knew what Intel ees are going through? Figure out a way to get it in the press, Oregon Live is a start but getting it out nationally would be better don't you think?

Direct messages via Twitter to journalists covering the industry work the best, you cannot send the link to the forum as they would be buried with info and Intel jargon, it has to be a specific thread that may be of interest to a particular media outfit or analyst
The signal to noise ratio here is far too low. Also there are no sources to accurately cite.
But mainly, the media did their drive by of this last week. It's old news and they don't care anymore.
um...precisely the point to leak. If you read through the post you will see that many people getting impacted by so-called "poor performer" status' are in fact historically not poor performers yet the media is unaware of that fact so get it out there...And fyi, Intel employment verification informs potential employers that an ee is ineligible for rehire when they call OCAC to verify employment dates so your point about impacting your job search is moot.
bad idea when you are out job searching. It basically lets everyone knows you were just laid off from Intel. Even my grandma knows Intel had a 12000 layoff. Do you think that helps you for your job search? The other companies look at the people laid off as the mediocre ee's like BK told everyone last year.
Why? All you have to do is search for Intel Layoffs and there it is. What good would it do except get even more clueless trolls..
