Apparently Bernie Sanders is advocating for employees who are losing their jobs to corporate greed...perhaps Intel ees need to engage his campaign and let them know what Intel is doing...

perhaps my post was misunderstood...issues at Intel can't and won't be fixed by any politician. The intention of post was to give example that Bernie is publicizing what is happening to employees at Verizon, not that he'll actually do anything about. He is bringing awareness that the public might not otherwise know about, similar to how the general public doesn't know what's really happening at Intel because they only see "12K employee reduction due to poor performers" and move on to the next news story, Intel is phenomenal about spinning stories and presenting themselves as a golden child while minimizing what they are doing to its workers...the current election, regardless of candidate, is being closely watched my millions worldwide, and it's likely that if someone like Bernie Sanders can bring visibility to how one of America's darling tech companies treats its ee's, it may be beneficial - Intel HATES negative publicity.
I see a lot of complaints about H1B, age discrimination, etc. on here, I would think that if this information was blasted on a larger, more public platform that may force Intel to change its practices if enough people get pissed off after learning about what they are doing to its American workers. That was the intention about sharing this, was thinking more strategically...hope this clarifies.
This is corporate ineptness. Can the Bern fix that? I'm thinking no.
