Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

"Intel received tax break for the next 30 years on some assets, which can save tens of billion $"

under the condition that Intek keeps creating jobs and hiring ppl. Is that true?

If so, now Intel should pay the tax then - hopefully. haha

From where I stand, @ywz is right. As for tax money, contact those governments and ask. Your letter may spur action. I don't live there or I'd join you.

I am not making up, i was asking whatever the money they saved and asking question if this is true. One comment provided the correct link. IS that called "made up"? Well, I was stupid could not remember tens of billion or tens of million, or so. The point is they got tax break under certain conditions, not making up numbers.

@auk, you should be the one double checking facts. OP said "tens of billions of dollars", that figure is made up. Your link says $2B.

I do like the "shut up and leave if you don't agree with me" attitude you threw in. Really mature during stressful times for everyone.

its not made up, Intel received tax cuts in OR and WA to increase h/c there, article here: http://www.oregonlive.com/silicon-forest/index.ssf/2014/08/intels_new_tax_deal_is_a_whopp.html

You should check your facts before you post comments on here or get off this forum.
