I could understand having established quotas for interviewing diverse candidates -- but it should come down to the best person to do the job -- should be the one who gets it. Anything aside from that is a joke.
would you be willing to work in India, Vietnam or Mexico? There are not so many races in these countries. They just have one race. Unless people from western countries are willing to settle in the countries mentioned by you, attaining racial diversity is just meaningless and impossible. I am sure gender diversity is important in those countries as well.
Intel is not looking for diversity, they are looking for political correctness brownie points and they are willing to fire as many (white males) as it takes to make it to their publicly state 2020 quotas. YES PUBLICLY STATED QUOTAS. As in we are controlling the outcome. As in the opposite of meritocracy.

I am pro immigration, and love Indians and Asians, and anyone that wants to wok. They aren't the problem or the cause, it's the power brokers, the globalists, they are the ones attacking US companies. I can't blame any foreign worker for taking the opportunity.
