Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

IR

hello ,

I got IR this year and I am expecting to be layed off . I had some personal issue going on . Health related issues . Also I changed teams in middle of the year

I was given time till may end to rectify my performance . So shouldn't I be eligible to grace period ? I am in grade 5 ..

I've seen people out on serious MLOA and while they were out, their FLM wrote a focal for them. He had no clue what the person had accomplished prior to the LOA. Needless to say , that shouldn't be the normal practice in any company. The individual received a message, and the incompetent FLM is still around

Pretty sure if you are on a federally protected leave they can not do anything till your return to work date.

Start looking now, don't wait. My focal was EE w/ SSL3, but I have an interview lined up for next week and also will be submitting to more companies. Always have a backup plan...

No, health issues does not work.. if you have IR and your heal issue was reported officially (documented) after getting the IR, you are out., I am speaking from my own experience.. talked to HR legal..but they said since I reported health issues after CAP, no way to help.. but you can still fight hard as there is nothing to loose now!! KEEP ALL COMMUNICATIONS SAVED AS MSG outlook file..make a good folder to collect all and must contact HR who was helping your ADA or health case!!! MUST TRY until you fail!!!
