More likely Intel Enterprise and Intel Consumer companies like HP split. BK would go with the highly profitable Intel Enterprise while Murthy gets struggling Intel Consumer. If BK were not from manufacturing, it would be a 3 way split with the fabs spun off into Intel Foundries. This will likely happen in a few more years once it becomes apparent that the parts are worth more separately than the whole.

If life at Intel is hell right now, can you imagine what life would be like at the Intel PC Company after the split. Man am I glad my EE degree took me many places but Intel.
Working at large companies like INTC is death to a career, unless you are a hitman politician type.
In which case you would not make it in a startup. Hence the talent divides and sorts itself appropriately.
After the beating TSMC and ARM is giving you guys, sure why not?
