Intel doesn't have any in house experience. And so it ends up hiring top dollars to hire people from renowned wireless companies like Qualcomm, Broadcom etc thonk ng its getting the best talent from those companies.
Reality is that Intel ends up paying a lot of money for employees from top ranked wireless companies that were C or D- ranked employees thinking they have a superstar.
Just look at Intel's recent hire from Qualcomm.
