The board supports the CEO decision to layoff the 12k. All the worker bees are employed at the leisure of the company, not the other way around. So until you're strong enough to dictate the terms of employment, they will.

CEO must go when a layoff is announced. How hard is that. Would the board have the right to make that call as a POLICY

Slashing the CEO salary wouldn't have prevented this. It's kind of immature to be complaining about it.

Yes, high level executive pay is absurd. But there's "how it should be" -- and then there's the real world.

He was so concerned about firing 11% of the company that he went for "a run"...look at his belly and tell me when was the last time he ran. One more reason not to trust him.
