Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

If you SSL 3 you won't get ISP, but you might be offered a VSP package. (same package, but you get the choice if you want to accept it)

If somehow all the site closures & relocation, early retirement, ISP and VSP don't make up the 12,000 heads, they did not rule out a second round where the VSP offers could become ISP layoffs.

But like every other time Intel has "trimmed down" they generally trim nails at the elbow and then have to sew it back on in 4 to 6 weeks. This time looks like they are cutting at the shoulder!

I was a new hire in 2015 and I did not get SSL4/SSL5.

My guess is someone in your group had to take it and it was "your turn" because that's the way your manager decided to pick someone. That doesn't seem fair. I'm sorry.

Will this impact the new hires from 2015 who by default received SSL4/5?

Successful with SSL 3 will NOT be impacted. Get a grip people, sheesh!

According to this (http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=78ce21d) they are not dipping into SL3. I just rechecked my Focal papers and heaved a huge sigh of relief for a sec. Still not holding my breath and getting affairs in order just in case.
