I assume you are PTD Litho MT? Unless you were involved in a safety or quality incident in the past year, I don't see any reason why you would lose your job. MTs are understaffed as they are. If you are a night shift MT even better.

Enjoy the time with your wife and you have nothing to worry about. BTW, Loosing a jobs is not end of the world. In this industry we all gp through it and survive. Again, I don't see why you are worried. Look at age chart of the people who lost their jobs last year and you will not see many 32 yr olds on that list.

Portland is a main hub. You are in R&D, only 32 with no bad reviews. What are you worried about? They are mainly after white folks over 50 (me). Also, they will shut down all the satellite sites not main sites such as Portland. The question you want to ask yourself is do you want to be 50 working in this company? Thats the time most likely you have kids in college. Find a job before they come after you. This is going to be a yearly occurrence.

Should clarify, I work out of hillsboro. 12 years at the company. Never had a bad review. Successful this past review. Exceeds year prior. I'm 32
