Murthy is just getting started, very likely he wanted to layoff 20k but BK coached him to do it in phases to continue pushing stock prices over time and relieve pressure on BK from board and stockholders.

Krazyian want to bump up stock price at cost of people's lives so he can bail out of Intel by selling millions of his options. This guy is not fit to be CEO, he sucks
