The following companies are hiring (primarily in Bay area), where you can try your luck: Arista Networks, TiVo, Flextronics, Samsung, Cisco, Apple, Google, Nvidia, Salesforce, Workday, Ringcentral. Of course, you might have to shift technology to suit their requirement.
For those that are tired of doing technical work and are not willing to learn anything new from what they have learned at intel, try at Walmart, Costco, Ross, Macys, JC Penney, Kohls, Wallgreens, Target, Tom Thumb, Frys, etc.
You might not be a good fit for the likes of McD, Pizza Hut, KFC, etc. as they will be looking for enthusiastic, smart and quick workers - the abilities that you would have already lost relaxing decades at intel.
