How do we know our severance pays are calculated correctly

Based on this message, https://www.thelayoff.com/t/FNiAe4J, we have reasons to suspect that things like carry over vacations may not be calculated correctly. How can we make sure that we're getting the correct payment?

Don't worry if you signed the separation agreement - if you were an "at will" employee as most of us were, they aren't enforceable in Texas. It's just there to scare you. Now, if you had a written contract like the execs, then it would be binding.

Well, my concern is that even if we found something is not calculated correctly in the last paycheck, we might not be able to dispute because we have signed the separation agreement.

Did you happen to call the payroll department or the HR number and ask? All carryover vacation and 2016 accrued vacation time will be on your last paycheck. It will not be part of the severance.
