Moises was never good enough to even touch my calipers.
It's 'College'.. Not "Collage". Do they help you with photos?... Haha. Oh and "where house"? It's 'Warehouse'.

moises is one of the big problems there, along with others. they have hired "outsiders" off the street with collage and they think they know best. SORRY, your collage makes you "book smart" and street stupid.
moises was a good guy when he was still in the where house. then he went to collage. yes he ran a few machines for a very short time. is he a machinist ? oh hell no. but to hear him...... he is. we all would laugh behind his back. if orange is to stay alive they need to back up and go "old school" but that's never going to happen.
Good point. You have Moises Lira running the machine shop and from I hear he was a horrible machinist but a great kiss ass. I'm sure when it hits the fan Brian V. will take the fall for the mess Moises created years ago.
renfro did his part in keeping orange open. BUT Owen was VARCO. maybe not so much any more. he did more then anyone thinks. as far as his kid goes' ? YES he needs to be gone. I know of one in maintenance. worthless. or should I say he needs to grow up, as we all did at their age. I retired after 23 + years. and yes a bunch of changes over the years. most not for the good. powers to be got rid of supervisors on the floor and put them in office's ? reading e mails and doing what ever else doesn't RUN a shop. when I started there, my boss's came up threw the ranks. they knew how to run the machines. knew the setups, knew the machine's. if you needed help they helped you. this is all gone, and its sad. if it weren't for the lead men there that know what they are doing it would be closed. and the real sad thing here is high management doesn't understand.

First off, I'm not Owen. You can't blame Owen Unruh for the price of a barrel of oil. The lay off notices came down from Houston. As far as his sons, I'm not sure about that one, but if you were director of operations and you had a say would you lay off your sons? Just because they are still there now doesn't mean they will be by April 30th. We received a very generous severance package from Houston so view this as an opportunity. My question would be where was the HR director during these layoffs? She seems to have found a quiet corner to occupy herself in while sending out Darlene, Cindy, and Gina to take the heat. NOV Orange's previous HR manager would never have passed that responsibility over to someone else. Thank you Darlene, Cindy, and Gina for taking on an emotional tasks and doing it with such professionalism.
