I've been out of IBM for 3/4 of a year and I am constantly getting requests to go contract with them paying 2x what I made when I was an employee, the problem is that my 4 1/2 years at IBM convinced me to never work for them or with them again if I can help it.
Nearly everything people here say was is for the area I was in (managed services)...
The yearly layoffs, underpaid staff, etc. Most of my colleagues were skilled but there were some that I was amazed managed to survive the layoffs as they literally didn't know anything about our line of work.
