I find it sad that after years of service, SLB didn't even have the decency to send my manager to let me know I was being canned. Instead, he just called, had someone hand me the paperwork and then walk me to the door. I just can't image after the industry recovers many people with experience will want to return to SLB. With the number of technical people SLB has let go, I also wonder if they even plan of have petrotechnical experts on staff at all.

I've seen hr have the people drive to their location instead of them going to the remote locations... NGC.
Check this out, not SLB but rather cold: @GgTqOXS
But I thought people were one of their biggest assets?
Insensitive. They don't care about you or people there. They care about the line item called cost.
