Thanks for your post @1rsd. Makes sense since I don't understand the younger generation anyway and have never stepped foot in an IKEA. They can have it. I'm leaving once it hits my floor later this year. :)

I've heard the younger crowd say they like TWWW more than the middle/experienced people. Don't get me wrong, almost everyone hates it, but younger people at least say that it looks pretty and that it reminds them of their college days ("like an IKEA dorm room shopping spree" one said).

I wonder if management will be part of this layoff? Intel should start there. And the first ISP should go to BK for his lack of leadership skills.

I can't imagine millennials (or any group for that matter), liking TW3 (TWWW). To put it bluntly, it sucks. I'm gone as soon as it comes my way which is pretty darn soon.

Yes, the ISP was age-skewed, even without age as a direct factor. Nobody has proven much AFAIK, but honestly, if you're targeting a group the last thing you do is admit it (aka use age as a direct factor). But look around, cafes, TWWW, 4 years until sabbatical...BK is pushing hard for millennials.

This article shows that last year's layoff at Intel skewed to older workers. Check the link to the data Intel had to provide.

Haven't heard anything yet. I work in the back end of TD. Were a small team. I'm hoping for the best.

That's where I'm at @1vvo, but my manager told me I was safe, darn it! (he also knows I want a package to leave so think he was being honest with me. He knows I don't care if I stay or go so no reason to lie. Unless.... they haven't told him who's getting hit yet which is a distinct possibility.) Pick me! Pick me! PLEASE! LOL
