Guys, could someone who has been on different assignments share info how well SLB when laid off ? Did SLB cover total years of seniority?

It totally depends on the situation. I got a sweet deal with with a full year and full bonus.

Nope.. they give u what they want to. Close to retirement, they don't care.

Aol, they didiot update them. Gave the guy a layoff. Wasted 6 months of his life and now he is out for good. Not eligible for rent hire. Go figure.

If things picks up which it will by 2020 maybe and yall go back to Schlumberger, then yall deserve what u ll get

I dont think they gave out points for people close to retirement, in previous downturn they did but not this time (thanks to mr PK and his options)

I've heard 2 weeks for each year upto $13k or 6 months. They can pass out points though for people close to retirement too. I little reach around while getting bent over is at least relieving.

It is outlined in the handbook. Check the newest handbook as the cap has been revised.
