It seems that Staples is laying off all of these people to control money, but yet the supply chain RVP's are spending huge dollars as reported on their expenses. Who controls these idiots? Wake up corporate and do audits on their expense reports you idiots. You will see that large amounts of dollars are being spent on meals with any regards for the guidelines. Is anyone else seeing this??

Serious bottom feeders at this company in management positions. What did anyone expect?
They feel it is an acceptable expense, part of the cost of doing business.
Where as cutting labor expenses makes managers into superstars and secures their positions, for the time being. Layoffs are bad, but at least they are not pulling the crap in the supply chain that they do in stores - BS performance issues to deny severance and UI.
