Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

My spouse of 20 years, worked as a director at Pearson VUE for 5 years, and I was really surprised he was laid off two weeks ago! I know he was outstanding and professional employee for long time; he went on business trip all the time and gave excellent speeches. He exceeded his expectations, of course. I had noticed he did better than his clueless boss, so he should get promotion to assistant or senior vice president someday. Unfortunately, Pearson VUE ignores his knowledge, skills, abilities and strength; just throw him under bus! Through, he has to apply for many jobs since Pearson VUE doesn't want him to get promotion.
