You have to understand that top management has an objective to place 25% women in management roles across SLB. Some are genuinely the best fit with the right skills; others are just placed to meet a KPI.

She is running Alaska operations.. totally a bitchhhhhh
I am puzzled why there are internal groups to support women, but not to support other minority groups. There is no 'black people in Schlumberger' bulletin board for example (afaik) , even though the number of black people at tech centers is surprisingly low. Policies for improving gender ratios should logically be applied to race - but we never hire with a bias towards accepting non-White applicants. We would like to think we hire and promote according to ability only. But, for women, this is not true. These days, why is there special treatment for women any longer?
I would promote anybody that shallows, male or female
I HAVE SEEN A EXPACT MANAGER IN SOUTH ASIA ,SIMPLY PROMOTE AND RECRUIT ONLY GOOD LOOKING GIRLS IN HIS TEAM....HE IS STILL THERE
This bullshit will be any companies downfall. I witnessed a woman at Halliburton being out on maternity leave for 4 months and the day she came back was promoted to manager. And no, she didn't having a f---ing clue. And this was in 2008! And it has exponentially gotten worse every year since. BP was the worst!! HiPo males bailed by the truck load.
Mmmmmmm, I like women in oil. The more oil, the better.
Does insurance cover sex changes? Does the flexible spending account qualify the procedure?
Just looking to move ahead in the company
Oil companies love showing off 'women engineers' and 'women in the oil industry', it's political correctness to buy political favor, so they try and pretend oil isnt just for white males.
however most women they hire are only good at sucking d1ck
they should promote best looking ones so you all can kiss it up for a good reason
total bitches who can not make a plot in excel - I saw it with my own eyes
yes.....The &-%!5 are getting promoted
