Marketing demotions in the SW?

They were telling me about the great new sign machine and soon we'll be making our own signs. Im sure this will go smoothly...
I wish NorCal had kept a community liaison in the stores. That is the person that really connected our store to the community and it is not the same without her
Oh yeah, like in NorCal last September! Great. They went from 38 MTL's to 23. Now, they are eliminating 10 more Metro Marketers to go to 13. Lookout SW! It's all a model to see how well they can extract your blood and still get you to perform.
This all happened in the other regions last September. Shouldn't be a shocker.
And this didn't "abruptly happen" as you stated. This transition has been happening for months and there are already metro marketers in most of the larger SW metros. God, quit trying to rile people up and cause drama. Get the facts.
So much information in your post. I was on the call. The current stores who have one marketer per store will now interview for multi stores. This is a metro marketer position. Depending on what metro you're in will depend on how many metro marketers there are. Most metro marketers will not have more than 4 or 5 stores apiece. This is supposed to happen by attrition but that could change. The metro marketer is a regional position, is salaried and they do not report to the STL. Demo and sign will then report to the STL and not the metro marketer. Those positions aren't going away. They simply report to someone else. Stores that are considered frontier stores will have a community liaison instead of a metro marketer. They work 40 hours a week and report to their STL. #teamwfm
i2-rgw, can you tell us when this marketing call happened?
SW Marketing call abruptly shifted all marketing TLs to community liaisons or to compete for metro positions. Demo and sign safe for now.
Is this company wide ? When?
When is that happening? Is this going to be true company wide, no marketers, sign makers?
