The problem is that Schlumberger / MiSwaco is laying off a lot of experience and replacing with highly educated, but lacking any experience, expats. Service quality will go down.

Expats are what they want, non-expats are what they need to get thing done. Dont forget slb is a euro company with high level management mostly filled by europeans/foreigners, dotted by a few Americans to make it look right. No American would ever make CEO. If you're an American you're screwed the moment you joined:)
