Who owns EDMC? I had believed that KKR owned the company, but then I checked Yahoo Finance and it showed something very different. That webpage indicated that Eaton Vance was the largest stockholder with about 110 Million shares. @Are you kidding?, after EDMC delisted, it's difficult figuring out what's going on. But it does look like right wingers took control--and the company appears to be in radio silence. CEO Mark A. McEachen, was Chief Financial Officer of Freedom Communications, a libertarian media corporation. And John Danielson became Chairman of the EDMC Board. Danielson was Chief of Staff at the DoED under George Bush II and is also a Board member of American Prison Data Systems.
Thought you played in the market, Camden Kid! Once KKR got 96% of the stock for about $4 billion in debt, EDMC relegated to pink sheets b/c the share price dropped to under $1. They haven't filed any financial updates since 2014 and haven't updated share info. You know better and are attempting to stir the pot or you're dumber than I thought.
