At one point, Intel was choc full of managers with CEO potential. They have now all departed. If BK/Murthy fail, the board will have to bring in an outsider or one of the refugees.

I seriously doubt there 3 were fired. They decided they couldn't make it to CEO with Murthy in the way and/or didn't like working for him. Who can blame them. I'm sure it's only the start of leadership jumping ship.
