Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

Obviously EDMC is the Titanic. Which schools go down first and which mgrs push women and children off lifeboats?

13 AGs submitted a letter to the DOE urging them to not renew their contract with ACICS... That accounts for 7 Ai campuses.

The Higher Learning Commission is also investigating several campuses for accrediting violations.

So my wager is on a complete EDMC collapse in the near future.

South is going down first too much assfucking going on there and Argosy is next. Ai carries that place monthly, quarterly and yearly. Even that won't be enough to keep EDMC around until 2018

K k r are not sole owners as there is still almost worthless stock being traded over the counter.

If KKR are sole owners, what's this?.....................................................http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=EDMC+Major+Holders

It was a debt for equity swap. K k r are owners. Not debt holders ,but rather owners ( note sole owners) of a poorly performing, mis behaving, challenged business .

After EDMC was delisted, it's much more difficult to get information. Who is actually in charge? Reminds me of scenes from Apocolypse Now. KKR holds the debt, which is probably more important than owning the 7 cents per share stock.
