Thread regarding Denbury Resources Inc. layoffs

What about the newbies that was hired 6 or so months prior to the lay offs? They bring nothing to the table!

Those hired from a company out of Oklahoma, who carry their buddies, from co to co, have not improved on any Denbury projects, they come in "talking about what they can do" riding coat tails while others are being laid off.

Proof of Denbury's change... hiring employees that do not have a good track record, look at the employee and co they came from, a co in trouble due to their postion and input. Denbury, you need to look at who you let make decisions (good ole boy). Question, on those valued employees that were laid off, supposedly due to oil prices; why let seasoned, good employees go that could be transitioned into other positions when instead, Denbury hires employees from a co that was failing due to their position/input. (Chapparal Energy)

Yes, Denbury had very good seasoned, hard working employees. Several were laid off and new employees were hired with higher salaries. Explain?

Probly why I'm getting the feeling I'm out. Not in the click and have my own opinion.

Not a yes man, just a grunt. But if I do get cut I won't hang around these message boards bashing my old company.

Sour??? Facts are! But, if this is describing you in the previous notes, I can see how you would be bothered, YES Man. Reality is, Denbury has laid off some of the best and have kept some of the best, so far. Denbury has hired in the downturn, men who contribute nothing, but are very good at being YES men. Keep your nose high my friend.

Yes men are trained to agree at a moments notice.

As seasoned professional yes men they expect large salary's.

They can change horses at full gallop to agree with the highest ranking figurehead in the meeting.

I just love watching a good supervisor flush out the yes men by playing both sides.LOL

Take note!

Management doesn't need seasoned professionals that will stand their ground and push back.

They buried any competition in dead end jobs and layoffs so they could act without reservations.

They got what they needed YES MEN!

if you want the answer to be YES every time you have to pay well for that!
