I was laid off from WesternGeco in Houston last week. Was anybody else laid off from the Richmond Avenue offices last week ? Actually it was a blessing in some ways the whole place has been like a morgue for a long time. The morale really sucked. Not much work, and what was there was all f---ed up.

I felt the same way when I was laid off. However it ended up being a great thing for me.
I was lucky enough that I was able to employ myself within 6-12 weeks and this is how I got started. It's in no way a get rich quick scheme, it takes dedication to learn new skills, but what "job" doesn't. So paste the link below in your browser and all I ask is that you keep an open mind as you watch the video.

I wish you all the best.
I was laid off yesterday. SLB sadly is not the same company I started with many years ago. So many of my friends and peers are gone due to layoffs. The place was so depressing. I no longer found joy in going to work. And managers lie to your face! They tell you your job is safe...then they let you go... I agree that the place is like a morgue.
Me too, I agree horrible place to be. Thank you for the severance and may Paal have his bottom burnt by a red hot poker
