4xip: or that the vast majority of the people impacted are in a much better place.
The only thing related to Target layoffs that is relevant is the amount of money that the executive suite members are cashing as their bonuses for working very hard to fire 2,000 people.
This article for me does 2 very conflicting things:
- First and foremost it is very reassuring to see those let go mostly find a job they like and not have a detrimental impact to their life as a result of the layoff, especially the people who had committed a significant part of their career at TGT. 2. It almost in a way justifies TGT's actions and the reckless decision making that led us to having to lay off that many people, and the reckless way they chose to eliminate that many positions. As if it would be totally OK if it all happened over again.
1kyv: and you keep believing anyone has a care about your opinion. This IS a great article that is very relevant to Target Layoffs.
Yea, keep repeating that to yourself...
Best quote from the article:
“Frankly, I’m surprised how happy I am here,” said Nikki Shultz, who was hired by UnitedHealth’s Optum unit after being laid off from Target, where she’d spent more than a decade.
No kidding!
