folks.....i got focalized and the SOB gave me a SSL3 with ZERO EB%....he says its a company wide thing unless you get a promotion.....i am in TMG.....is this true elsewhere or is it only TMG?
is this a performance message?

SSL3, 2.1% EB target raise, 2.1% base raise. 22 yrs, Tech 5, white guy, night shift, do the job better/faster/safer than anyone else and hope for the best. sh-- gettin' real though...nobody is safe.
Many people got ZERO increases in EB and base.
Also, if you are and the max of your EB range per your Grade Level, you'll not see an increase unless:
1) The EB range in dollars increases and you are awarded that through a market adjustment or,
2) You get promoted, which gets you into the next EB range for the new Job Grade.
0% EB raise can be a factor of time in grade and are you near the top EB target for your grade. Had that happen a couple of times- no biggie - as I am ALREADY Maxed out with EB target for my grade
@8bvd - OK, that's all fine and good. But since this thread is about the EB%, what percent did your EB go up?
Ok, I'm a white guy, grade 7, with an Indian manager and mostly Indian team. Just got 4.1% raise, SS2. Yes, I had to work my assof, but that's Intel. Stop whining.
Everyone keeps talking about EB targets being 0% which, in the absence of context sounds screwy. I am assuming that when you say 0% that this refers to the percent increase from your current EB target?
What has the multiplier been lately, these past several challenging years?
Did you mean 0% increment in APB Target? I got my review yesterday, and received a taste of this bitter medicine. Got SSL3 stock, a very very paltry raise, and 0% increment/change in EB target. This has been a first for me. Never had a focal review with zero movement on the target bonus. Not sure, if this is being done in all BGs or PEG only for those who are rated "Successful".
I got successful and SSL 3 but my EB was more than the normal 2.5%.
What country do you work in where you got 0% EB?
If you are the only non-indian then get ready to be replace by an Indian, you should had seen this one coming especially when working for an Indian boss at Intel :(

I got 5% + a lot of stock with SL3 but then again my boss is Indian and so am I. You have know how to please your boss and you will get something in return ;)

That's total BS as an across the board thing.. Was not valid for me. Zero EB or Zero RSU, or both? If any of these are true, yes it's a message...
Intel is taking all the benefits away and next will be your jobs unless if you leave on your own. How else can the tell you please leave.
i get mine on tuesday.....so you're saying if get a SSL3,2,1....i should expect an EB target of 0% ???????

It is true everywhere.. Only those who get grade promotion will be given better ratings.. Majority are SSL3 with 0% pay hike.. Those who got SSL4 and 5 can better start looking for other options rather than waiting for pink slips by June.
