The goal with ditching PBC was supposedly to make performance evaluations simpler, more-streamlined, and less time and labor intensive, but now with Checkpoint: it's 4'x the amount of work and time in assembling and inputting information, as well as 1-on-1's with your manager, which are now monthly as compared to quarterly or bi-monthly like previously.
The company has finally decided to synchronize how it manages it's employees with how it manages its business: in a quarterly fashion, which likely makes RA's easier and more frequent, as it can respond with more agility (yet another newly-implemented corporate paradigm. . .) as we continue to see abysmal results quarter after quarter.
