Sounds all too familiar: constant threat of job cuts, a company laser focused on cutting costs rather than driving revenue, and a CEO completely lost in their ways. People are leaving in droves, whether on their own terms or not. Makes you wonder why anyone in their right mind stays. I left in October and life has vastly improved; I suggest you do the same!

The Pasture is not always greener in other companies. Seagate and other companies has pros and cons. I have worked in Small and larger company than Seagate, all has good and bad. Learn from the pros and strengthen the cons, this is how you can change culture within any department you are in. At Worst, you did your best to make work better for you and around you.
I was let go in Sep/Oct. initially I was upset but soon started applying and attending interviews. Now I am in a much better place and happy to be out of Seagate.
This seems to be a recurring theme here - people are unhappy and leaving. And, nobody cares. Sad.
