It's why most people recognize that Noble Energy is all about the managers. How many rank and file employees at Noble have any stock options? The answer not many. This is unusual in the oil patch. Most companies offer this to all of their employees. No managers laid-off... Also unusal. Just more evidence that this company is all about the managers. Everyone else is just a disposable piece of garbage to be thrown out on a whim.

The SEC is hand picked by Wall Street. They lack the will and the funding to pursue the vast majority of insider misconduct. How many execs did they prosecute for the mortgage backed securities fiasco? Unless you can produce specific and undeniable proof that a law has been broken they won't touch it.

If that can be proven, isnt that against the law?

Have you ever followed the insider trading at Noble. It was beyond belief a few years ago. The grants and dispositions involved hundreds of millions of dollars. This is what I call a joy ride through Wall Street.

What about reporting Noble to Wall Street, external auditor, major key investor or Better Business Bureau for any uncorrected miss-statement regarding resources by upper management? We know that the Board of Directors are chosen by Noble managements and obviously they will not go against Noble.

The Board of Directors should be asking why the company is so top heavy. But Noble is such an inbred organization... especially at the executive level. This is one of the most ineffective BOD's in the history of publicly traded companies.

Dream on. Best that'll happen is some key investor will start asking why the company is so top heavy. That's about the only thing that could shake some of the rotten fruit off the management tree.
