SRC to be shut down

SRC to be shut down by beginning of FY2018. Close out to start beginning of 2017. Residual shape charge manufacturing to be downsized, but still remain. R&D to be consolidated to Sugar Land. Subsea and Completions also shuttering and moving to Sugar Land. Large headcount reduction expected.

Not with all the $ they just invested in the new shaped charge building. Unless they sell that off as an independent company.

My friend in finance told me the same thing... Good bye SRC. I won't miss the drive, but having every other Friday off was nice. Hopefully I still have my job... :(

Was quite secure prior to the additional Product Line invasions.

SRC...Was SPC. Perforating is why it is there.

Much cheaper taxes is only reason I could ever figure on creation of Bldg 45 and associated Child buildings. Everything was just fine prior to the Trailer invasion and then 45.

Bastard Step Children bring down the long time and proven Product Line.

My center manger said this is not true, when I asked, so no worries. I was also told not to be worried about being laidoff since being laid is not common for someone like me. So I'm good there also.
